Losing a car or home keys sound minor but it can bring you a major headache especially when you just return from the trip. The chance to lose your keys during the trip is pretty high. To avoid it, you have to put the keys in a safe place during the trip. It is even better if you can just have a family or friend keep it for you. If you have to carry it around during the trip, put the keys in the same place every day. Avoid placing keys with other items you often pull out. Put the keys in a sealed or zipped pocket. 

Nightmare seating is also one of the most frequent mishap happen during a trip. The worst seat is the middle seat. If you find yourself book a middle seat, you can try to change it officially before boarding. If you attempt to change it while the plane is flying, the chance is smaller. 

Unruly seatmate is also a nightmare during the trip you possible face. Even though you have common sense doesn’t mean the others do. Sometimes, people are ignorant and act unruly during the trip. If you face this kind of situation, you can kindly call out your seatmate when they are bothering you. If they are not listening or cause conflict, ask flight attendant to interfere. 

Lost luggage is still pretty frequent between travelers. Therefore, it is better to ensure the safety of your suitcase. Put unique, visible marking on your suitcase so you can identify it. Also, you can be more prepared by having packing extra essentials in your carry-on bag such as one change of clothing, toiletries, valuables, and medications just in case your luggage is lost. 

Being late to the airport due to a traffic jam sounds harmless but if it costs you to miss the flight then it becomes a major problem. It is best to prevent this from happening by leaving early especially if your flight is around rush hour. It is better to wait a little longer before boarding at the airport rather than being stuck in a traffic jam afraid you are not going to make it. You can also check alternative routes beforehand so you can avoid traffic.
